Lessons

If you’ve always wanted to learn guitar or you’ve been playing guitar for a while and you’re stuck in your progress, I can help you.

For over 30 years I have had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of students at every level: young and old, beginner students, advanced students and even pro-level players. I teach out of my home studio as well as a local music store in Henry County, Georgia.

I am presently accepting new students for in- person lessons as well as online lessons. To learn more, see below.

Private Lessons at my Home Studio Location

For those living within reasonable driving distance of Henry County in the South Atlanta area and you’re looking for private lessons at my home studio in McDonough, GA, visit my Lesson page at http://jimcruzguitarlessons.com. There you’ll find details about my lessons as well as my rates, locations and available time-slots. You can also sign up for my monthly newsletter. I take all levels and ages (beginner to advanced/pro level players) in my in-person lessons.

Private Lessons Over the Internet

This is an option for advanced to pro-level players. If you’re interested in advancing your skills and want to learn more advanced topics such as Jazz, Rock, Blues styles including improvisation, technique building, music theory, finger picking and other topic areas, I offer Weekly 30-minute lessons (paid by the month) online via web-cam. These are all private, one-on-one lessons. Visit my lessons website to learn about how my online lessons work. Available time slots are the same as my private lessons at my home studio location.

On-Demand Video Guitar Lessons – Every Style & Level

Nothing beats taking private lessons, of course. But a great online video guitar lesson program can help fill in the gap if private lessons are out of your budget or if scheduling a convenient time is an issue. It’s like taking lessons whenever you want without ever having to schedule it. In fact this is an awesome and proven alternative.

This is also a great resource for extra-curricular learning, even if you already take lessons. For a number of years now, I’ve recommended this very high quality online video guitar resource to folks who either couldn’t make their schedule fit in with my available time slots or wanted to learn some things on their own. There’s something in here for every level, whether you’re a beginner or a professional player. I’m sure you’ll find these to be worth your while, and you can’t beat the price either.
